There’s an endless choice of fantastic bike tours waiting for you in the Gitschberg Jochtal holiday area… Whether you’re a leisure cyclist or an ambitious mountain biker, all you need to do is saddle up and start pedalling: several tours start right outside our hire shop in Vals. Among these, there’s a relatively short itinerary leading up to idyllic Fane Alm – a traditional Alpine village with vast green expanses dotted with rustic huts. Experienced mountain bikers can challenge their calves all the way up to the Brixner hut. Another beautiful tour leads from Vals up to the Jochtal mountain restaurant or even further on to the Ochsenalm hut at an altitude of over 2,000 metres, where you’ll be rewarded with a breath-taking view and the delicious dishes served in the warm atmosphere of an Alpine hut. And if you don’t fancy cycling all the way back, you can take the cable car!
